Virtues

Today, in room 8, for R.E, we had to write down some virtues and examples and also there meanings

Self Discipline….
Definition: Self Discipline is about self control.
Example: To train yourself to be the best you can to improve.
Compassion….
Definition: The character to figure out how others are feeling or having awareness of them.
Example: Want to do something about how they are feeling or help them.
Responsibility
Definition: Taking care of your own things.
Example: Cleaning your room or doing the washing.
Courage
Definition: To have Strength and Bravery.
Example: Helping someone carry something that is heavy for them or helping a old person or a kid cross the road.
Perseverance
Definition: Having difficulty of success or being determined to finish something you started.
Example: Don’t know what to do or how to do something of what you are given but you have courage to finish your work.
Loyalty
Definition: Having a strong feeling of support
Example: In a community, feeling supported or playing a sport and your teammates are giving you support.  
Faith
Definition: Feeling complete trust or confidence in yourself or from someone.
Example: Doing rock climbing and having complete trust in your partner and having confidence.
Wisdom
Definition: accepting the experience, knowledge and good judgement.
Example: Quality of being wise.
Honesty
Definition:  Being truthful to a person.
Example: Telling the truth.  
Justice
Definition: Meaning of just and behaviour
Example: Proving what’s wrong and what’s right.
Faithfulness
Definition: Being loyal, truthful, dedicated  and committed
Example: Being honest with everyone
Strength
Definition: Having faith, Being strong. Not being doubtful and Never giving up.
Example: Being strong even though if the task is hard to complete.
Fortitude
Definition: having determination in pain or in a difficult situation
Example: Having a broken leg or in hospital in pain but having faith in yourself that you are going to be okay.
Prudence
Definition: Being wise and careful of what you are doing or which path to take (Good or Bad)
Example: Going for a run but also being wise and careful about the people around you.
